Tazman Turbinz

Tazman Turbinz In-Pipe Turbine Generator (IPTG) provides emissions-free, reliable electric power generation at remote natural gas well sites

Certification to Industry Performance Standards

Canadian Standards Association (CSA) and Canadian Registry Number (CRN), Alberta Pressure Equipment Safety Authority (ABSA)

Engineering Precision and High Performance Standards

The Tazman Turbinz Generator was developed in compliance with CSA and UL standards for motors and generators used in hazardous locations (CSA C22.2 No. 145-11 / UL No. 674, 5th edition).

Testing Protocols:

Alberta Pressure Equipment Safety Authority (ABSA)

The Tazman Turbinz Generator is ABSA-certified under CRN (Canadian Registration Number).

To qualify for this certification, Tazman Turbinz and its welding subcontractor submitted calculations and design drawings of the weld beads. Subsequently, one-time testing of low-temperature impact tests were performed. The Tazman Turbinz Generator is certified for use with both Class 600 and Class 900 flanges.

After the welding of the flanges, each spool (i.e., the pipe with flanges) is subject to a hydrostatic test at 2995 psi (205 bar).
